Bucking Rainbow has been operating fun filled rafting excursions on the Yampa, Colorado, Elk, North Platte and Eagle river since 1993, and we've now merged with Steamboat Flyfisher to offer guided fishing trips. We are the only local company that provides transportation from Steamboat Springs to the Colorado, Eagle, lower Yampa and North Platte Rivers. Our adventures include two hours trips, half or full day. Overnight trips can also be arranged. Our expert staff takes great pride in showing everyone a great day on the water. Cross Mountain Class IV Daytrip
Searching for that adrenaline filled trip of a lifetime? On Cross Mountain you better be prepared to grip and rip! Located on the lower Yampa, Cross Mountain Canyon is one of the most beautiful stretches of water in Colorado. Huge Class III and IV rapids will challenge the most experienced boater, while breathtaking canyons climbing 1,100 feet on both sides will dare you to get distracted by its beauty. Due to the seriousness of the whitewater, ages 16 and older please.
