Max Bond hails from the “glaciated mecca” of Cleveland, Ohio, where he learned to climb on graffiti-covered cliffs and ski on 280-foot hills. After high school, he moved to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where he studied Glaciology and Climate Science at Dartmouth College. Max has guided in Colorado, Washington, the Juneau Icefield, Denali, Ecuador, and the Himalayas. In his personal time, he has climbed and skied peaks in Iceland, France, the Juneau Icefield, the Stikine Icefield, New England, Colorado, California, the Himalayas, and the Pacific Northwest. Max is an AMGA Apprentice Ski and Alpine Guide, and maintains AAA Pro‑1 avalanche, WFR, LNT Trainer, AASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor, and AIARE Instructor certifications.
