About
Kendall, who is originally from Virginia, found herself in Driggs, Idaho on a post-college roadtrip—claiming that she was “just looking for a town to be a ski bum in.” Since 2020, she has spent time skiing powder both on and off-the-clock as a ski patroller, avalanche educator, ski and snowboard instructor, and ski guide in the Tetons.
She enjoys connecting with folks from all backgrounds and experiences, from beginner skiers & riders to expert backcountry travelers. She is constantly on the search for good snow, good views, good conversation (and good snacks on the skintrack). She is endlessly inspired by the valleys and peaks that she now calls home and can’t wait to explore them with you.

Backcountry Skiing and Snowboarding Teton Pass
TOURS
The Tetons are famous for their exceptional backcountry skiing, offering ample opportunities to carve fresh tracks in untouched powder. Escape the lift lines and resort crowds by exploring the Teton backcountry with Yostmark’s expert guides.
Our guides cater to all levels of skiers and riders, ensuring you can safely explore the Teton backcountry. Whether you're looking to make fresh tracks in pristine powder, navigate tree-filled or open runs, our guides will evaluate current conditions and your skill level to tailor the best experience for you. They’ll teach you essential skills such as uphill travel, risk management, and decision-making, all while ensuring a safe and thrilling adventure. We are fully stocked with the latest ski and splitboard packages for rent and provide beacon, shovel and probe for participants if needed.
Snowboarders Please Note: High quality boot-packing terrain is fairly limited, and we recommend snowboarders on our guided tours use either skis or a splitboard with skins. Yostmark Mountain Equipment has a full line of ski and splitboard rentals (with skins!), so you can find the set-up that’s right for you! Renting a splitboard? Be sure to bring your own snowboard boots!
Please Note: You must know how to ski or snowboard in order to participate in a Yöstmark Backcountry Tours adventure or course.

Touring in the Teton backcountry is an unforgettable winter experience, whether you’re a local or just visiting. But backcountry travel is more than just earning your turns - it requires knowledge, preparation, and sound decision-making.
At Yöstmark Backcountry Tours, we’re passionate about helping you explore the mountains safely. We understand that everyone comes to the backcountry with a different level of experience, and we believe avalanche education should be accessible to all. That’s why we offer a range of avalanche safety courses designed for every ability level.
Our courses include:
- Avalanche Rescue
- Recreational Level 1 Avalanche Course
- Recreational Level 2 Avalanche Course
Through these hands-on courses, you’ll learn how to assess terrain, read snow conditions, use avalanche safety gear, and make smart choices in the mountains. You'll also gain confidence using your beacon, probe, and shovel, and understand what equipment to bring when venturing into avalanche-prone terrain.
Whether you're new to ski touring or looking to deepen your snow safety knowledge, Yöstmark is here to support your journey into the backcountry, one safe step at a time.
PLEASE NOTE: Prior experience in backcountry skiing or snowboarding is REQUIRED to enroll in a Yöstmark Backcountry Tours Avalanche Course. Participants must already know how to use backcountry skis or a splitboard, including the proper use of climbing skins.
