Montana Angling Company’s owner and outfitter Max Yzaguirre works hard to provide anglers with the best Montana fly fishing experience. Ask any of his clients about him and usually you are met with big grins and words like patient, professional, teacher, fun, and fanatic.
As our fly fishing outfitter he can be found on the water almost everyday from April until November, working hard for his clients and sharing with them his experience and passion for fly fishing in Montana. He also personally handles all of our bookings, so you can count on high-quality customer service and the experience needed to make sure you have your best Montana fly fishing trip yet.
Fly fishing has taken him all over the United States and beyond, including guiding in South America, but there’s no doubt in his mind that Montana is the last best place to catch wild trout and he has made it his job to know where to find them. On the rare day he isn’t on the river he is usually up in the mountains or in the field with his bird dog Bessie, but you can bet rising fish are always on his mind.
